The Pantry is the perfect place to dine after a long day at the sales or races or even both! The Pantry specialises in locally sourced, British cuisine, so you can expect to enjoy a tender Rib eye or fillet steak supplied by our quality butcher, Eric Tennant or hand dived king scallops, lemon soles or halibut from our excellent Fishmonger and neighbour, Fish!

We are also open from 8am for breakfast and coffee, so you can read up on the form before heading off to the sales or race course, whilst we get you fed and watered!

New wines in time for the Racing Season

Although we have a fantastic range of great value wines on our menu we have just introduced a French Classics selection of wines our guests have been requesting, which are listed below:

White

 Domaine Millet, Chablis, Burgundy 2010  £31.00

The nose on this classic Chablis is stony and mineral but also lightly honeyed and creamy from the ripened fruit. The palate is tangy with crushed sea-shell and stone fruit

Domaine Tissier, Sancerre, Loire Valley 2011 £31.50

Delicate aromas span fresh pear, citrus and white flowers. The palate offers a cool, stylish expression of Sauvignon Blanc, with plenty of grassy bite and hints of gunflint on the finish.

 Red

Château Beauchêne, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Rhône 2005  £35.00

This full-bodied and concentrated red exudes moreish flavours of baked plum and damson fruit, kirsch and sweet spice.

Château de Lamarque, Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux 2007  £40.00

Ripe blueberry and blackberry fruit come through on the nose with grenadine freshness and delicate spice. The palate reflects these aromatics, developing a base of cherry liqueur, warm fruitcake and mocha.
