With the Tattersalls Midsummer Sale starting tomorrow and the Moet & Chandon July meeting at Newmarket Racecourse hot on it’s heals from Thursday, Newmarket is about about to burst into life for one the towns favourite weeks!

Our flexible all day dining ethos has made The Pantry a popular venue for dining before or after the sales or races since we opened back in 2011.

Breakfast & Brunch served from 8am to 12pm

Fuel up for the day ahead with a fantastic breakfast from our Brunch menu, we are fully licensed so go ahead and enjoy a glass of Champagne with your Exning Smoked Salmon and scrambled eggs or even a pint of our Adnam’s Dry Hopped Lager with your Pantry Breakfast (our version of a full English)!


Our location also makes up a great stop for lunch before the races, you can enjoy a lite bite such as sandwiches and home made quiche or you can indulge in a full 3 course meal with firm favourites such as our Pantry burger or superfood salad with a fresh salmon steak.

Dinner and drinks

In the evening we transform into a cosy, buzzing restaurant, wine and cocktail bar. Our specials board showcases the best seasonal and local produce. Also to celebrate this special week we will also be trialling dishes for our soon to be open second restaurant at The National Heritage Centre for Horse racing and Sporting Art, which opens at the beginning of September. Look out for beautiful fillet steaks, wild turbot and lobster!

The Pantry Bar means business! We have lovingly stocked it full of spirits that are produced locally including Dr. J’s Gin made just 4 miles away in Dullingham and the best of the rest of the world, including Japan, Germany and America. Our selection includes over 15 artisan gins, as well as a great selection of vodkas, Whiskeys and Bourbons, including Highland Park 25 year old!

The Pantry is open 6 nights a week from Monday to Saturday and we are happy to accommodate late arrivals after the sales, we recommend booking during this period.
