More about the evening

The get everyone in the mood we will start with an Adnam’s Sloe Gin Cocktail on arrival at 7pm with the the tutored evening with George Wilding (featured in the photo below!) starting at 7.15pm.

George will guide you through 4 Adnam’s spirits; now the focus of our evening is of course GIN, however a wee spoiler alert/ disclaimer the first of the 4 Spirits will actually be Adnams award winning Longshore Vodka and the reason for which will be explained by George on the night!

The Spirits will be matched with 4 tapas by our talented boys in the kitchen. You will even be finishing the night with a goody bag specially put together by Adnams and a lucky guest will be winning the chance to experience a visit to Adnams Copper House Distillery Tour for two people.

After enjoying your spirit tasting and tasty tapas we rewarding any guests who stay on with us for more tapas or a main course and of course more G and T’s after the event with 15% off their food and drink bill.  This is a fantastic opportunity to try some of the many new dishes on our menu, which launches on Wednesday the 18th of April. The focus of our new menu is on vibrant, colourful food for the season such as delicious lamb chops with belly croquets, a pepper puree, wild garlic and lamb jus as well as mixing it up with some additional vegan and vegetarian friendly dishes!

Why Adnams?

They are a well loved, local brewer and distillers, based in Southwold, on the beautiful Suffolk coast. The company values are rooted in making great products without costing the earth. The Copper House Distillery produces spirits directly from malted grains to the finished product. The same local ingredients- barley, rye (they even grow their own rye!), oats and wheat are used within their great tasting beers. Their gin and vodka were named the world’s best by the IWSC (International Wine and Spirit Competition) in 2013 and 2014.
